Select "Sign In" in the website header to access your account with email and password or phone OTP. New users can select "Create Account", choose their account type, and register with email or phone verification.

How do I post a property?

On the website, sign in and click "Post Free" in the top right, or open Dashboard → Post Property. On the mobile app, tap the + button on the bottom bar. Fill in the details, upload photos, and submit. You will receive an email confirmation, and the listing goes live once our moderation team approves it (usually within 24–48 hours).

How many properties can I post for free?

Every account gets 5 free property listings to start. After your free credits are used, you can purchase Credit Packages from Dashboard → Membership to keep posting. See the "Credits" question below for the full breakdown.

Is PropDeep free for buyers and renters?

Accepted Answer

100% free. Browsing properties, saving favourites, contacting sellers, requesting callbacks, and chatting with agents costs nothing. We only charge sellers/agents for promoted listings beyond their free quota.

Question 5

How do I edit or delete my property?

Accepted Answer

Sign in and go to Dashboard → My Properties. Each listing has Edit, Delete, and Mark as Sold buttons. Edits are republished after a quick re-moderation; deletes are immediate and irreversible.

How long does my property stay live?

Accepted Answer

Listings remain active for 12 months from approval. If you sell or rent out the property earlier, please mark it as SOLD — we remove it from public search but keep it in your dashboard for your own records.

What are Credits and how do they work?

Credits System Overview:
• Every user gets 5 FREE property listings
• After using free listings, purchase Credit Packages to post more
• Each property (pending or published) uses 1 credit
• Credits are additive — buying multiple packages adds to your total
• Credits deduct immediately when you submit a property

How to Purchase Credits:
1. Try to post a property after using free listings
2. You will see a "Limit Reached" message
3. Tap "Upgrade Plan" to view available packages
4. Choose a package (e.g., 5 Credits, 15 Credits, 30 Credits)
5. Complete payment
6. Credits are added to your account immediately

Viewing Your Credits:
• Go to Dashboard → Membership
• You will see X/Y (e.g., 10/15 means 10 credits remaining out of 15 total)
• Total = Free listings (5) + Package credits purchased

Important Notes:
• Credits deduct for BOTH pending and published properties
• If admin rejects or deletes your property, the credit is refunded
• 30 days validity — use credits within 30 days of purchase
• Credits are per account, not per property type

How long does listing approval take?

We aim to approve within a few hours. In peak periods (weekends, end-of-month) it can take up to 24–48 hours. You will get an email and an in-app notification the moment your listing is approved or held for revision.

Why was my listing rejected or held?

Accepted Answer

The most common reasons are missing or low-quality photos, an unrealistic price, a duplicate of an existing listing, incomplete details (address, bedrooms, area), or content that violates our terms. The admin sends you the specific reason and a note — fix the issue and resubmit; rejected listings do not consume credits.

How do I promote my property?

Sign in and go to Dashboard → My Properties. Each listing has a Promote button. Pick Featured, Premium, or Platinum, complete payment via Razorpay (web) or in-app purchase (mobile), and your listing moves up immediately.

Question 11

What is the difference between Featured, Premium, and Platinum?

Accepted Answer

All three tiers push your listing higher in search results, but with different reach and durations. Platinum gives you the top spot, the most visibility, and the longest run. Premium is mid-tier. Featured is the entry-level boost — great if you only need a short bump. See Dashboard → Promote on any of your properties for the current prices and durations.

Why should I promote my listing?

Promotion gets your property in front of more serious buyers — promoted listings appear at the top of search results, on the home page carousel, and inside our exclusive real-estate community channels. On average, promoted listings get 3–10× more enquiries than free listings in the same area.

How do I contact a seller or agent?

Open any property listing and you will see Call, WhatsApp, Email, and Chat buttons. The first tap asks for your name and phone number so the seller knows who is interested — then your chosen channel (phone dialer, WhatsApp, email client, or in-app chat) launches.

Will I get notifications when buyers contact me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sellers and agents get an email immediately when a buyer requests a callback, sends an email, or starts a chat. You also see every enquiry under Dashboard → Leads, along with the buyer’s contact details. Push notifications fire on the mobile app for real-time alerts.

What is the "Request Callback" form?

When a buyer taps Call/WhatsApp/Email on your listing, we first capture their name + phone via a quick form. This means you get a lead even if they never actually dial — you can follow up later from Dashboard → Leads. The form is one-tap-submit once the buyer is signed in.

How does CRM lead management work?

Every interaction on your property — Call, WhatsApp, Email, Chat, or Request Callback — becomes a lead in Dashboard → Leads (the built-in CRM). You never have to copy phone numbers from random WhatsApp messages or email threads — they all show up in one place.

What you see for each lead:
• Buyer name, phone, and (if shared) email
• Which property they were viewing
• Channel they used (Call / WhatsApp / Email / Chat / Callback)
• Timestamp + source (website / mobile app)
• Status: New, In Progress, Won, Lost (you update this as the deal moves)
• Free-text notes for your own follow-up reminders

Solo agents:
• All leads are yours by default.
• Filter by property, status, or date range to track which listings are pulling enquiries.

Agencies (Owner / Admin / Agent):
• Leads are tagged to the agency, not just the agent.
• Owners and Admins see every lead across the team in one inbox.
• Regular Agents see leads assigned to them, plus the unassigned pool they can claim.
• Reassign any lead from a dropdown — useful when one agent is on leave or a buyer needs a specialist (a particular area, language, or property type).
• See per-agent performance: leads won, lost, response time.

Analytics you get out of the box:
• Conversion rate (leads won / total leads) for any time period.
• Top-performing properties by enquiry volume.

What is an Agent on PropDeep?

An Agent is a single person who lists properties and helps buyers or tenants. Every real-estate professional on PropDeep is an Agent. If you work alone you are just an Agent — you do not need to create an Agency. If you work inside a company, you are still an Agent and your company is your Agency (see the next question). Getting the blue verified tick next to your name builds trust and brings more enquiries.

What is an Agency and how is it different from an Agent?

An Agency is a real-estate company. It can have many Agents working under it, like a small team or a whole brokerage. If you work solo, you do NOT need an agency — just keep working as an Agent. Create an agency only when you want to add teammates.

Inside an Agency there are three roles. These roles ONLY exist inside your own agency — they do not give you any power over other agencies or over PropDeep itself.

• OWNER — the person who started the agency. Handles billing and can add or remove anyone, including other Owners. There can be more than one Owner.
• ADMIN (agency admin) — a trusted team member who can invite agents, reassign leads, and edit this agency’s profile. Think of it as "co-owner, minus billing".
• AGENT — a regular team member who lists properties and handles the leads assigned to them.

Important — two different things both called "admin":
1. Agency ADMIN = inside your agency only. You get this by becoming an Owner or by an Owner promoting you. It is scoped to one agency.
2. PropDeep platform support (info@propdeep.com) = the PropDeep staff who run the whole site. They can moderate any listing or assist any agency for support reasons. They are not part of your team — you did not invite them and they do not take your leads.

How to create your agency:
1. Sign in and open Dashboard → My Agency.
2. Tap "Create your agency".
3. Fill in the agency name, address, office phone, email, website, and logo.
4. Save. You are now the OWNER of your new agency.

Question 19

How do I create or edit my Agency profile?

Accepted Answer

Creating your agency is a one-time, 2-minute setup. You only need an agency if you want teammates — solo agents can skip this and keep posting as an individual.

Where to create:
• Website: sign in → Dashboard → My Agency → "Create your agency"
• Mobile app: Account → My Agency → "Create your agency"
• Both screens save to the same place — fill it in once, use it everywhere.

Required fields:
• Agency name (this is what buyers see on listings)
• City and full address
• Office phone number
• Email address

Optional but recommended:
• Logo (square, 512×512 or larger — auto-compressed to WebP)
• Banner / cover image
• Website URL
• Short description (helps your agency profile rank in search)
• Social media links

Once saved you are automatically the OWNER, and your agency appears on the public /agencies page and on every listing your team posts.

Editing later:
• Open Dashboard → My Agency → Edit. Only Owners and Admins can edit.
• Changes are live immediately — no admin re-moderation.

Deleting your agency:
• Only the Owner can delete. Settings → Delete agency.
• Agents in your agency are not deleted — they revert to solo Agent accounts and keep their listings.
• Past leads stay on each agent's account.

Question 20

How do I invite agents to my agency?

Only the Agency OWNER or an ADMIN can invite new agents.

1. Open Dashboard → My Agency.
2. Tap the "Invites" tab.
3. Enter the agent’s email, choose their role (Agent or Admin), and optionally add a short note.
4. Tap "Send invite".

PropDeep will email that person an invite link. When they tap the link and sign in with the same email, they automatically join your agency.

Important rules:
• The invite link expires in 7 days. You can always send a new one.
• The invitee must sign in with the same email the invite was sent to.
• If the invitee only has the Flutter app, tap "Paste invite code" on their device and paste the link — it works the same way.
• An invite can be revoked any time from the "Invites" tab before it is accepted.

Question 21

What are "Shared Leads" in my agency?

Shared Leads is the single inbox your whole agency sees, instead of every agent chasing their own enquiries alone.

How it works:
• Any time a buyer taps Call/WhatsApp/Email on one of your agents’ listings (or directly on your agency page), PropDeep creates a lead and tags it with your agency.
• OWNERs and ADMINs see every lead in the agency — new, in progress, won, lost.
• Regular Agents only see leads that are either assigned to them or still unassigned in the pool.
• The Owner / Admin can reassign any lead from the dropdown — e.g. give a buyer from North Bengaluru to the agent who covers that area.

This is useful when:
• An agent is on leave — their buyer can still be handled by a teammate.
• A lead comes in from the agency phone number, not a specific agent — the Owner picks who takes it.
• You want to see which agent is closing the most deals in one place.

Can I save properties I am interested in?

Yes — tap the ❤️ heart icon on any listing card or property detail page to add it to your Favorites. View, sort, and remove favorites any time from Dashboard → Favorites. Favorites sync across the website and the mobile app — save on the laptop, see it on your phone. Sign-in required (so they stay with your account if you change devices).

Question 23

Can I save my search filters and get alerts for new listings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Whenever you search with filters (city, type, budget, bedrooms, etc.), you will see a "Save this search" button at the top of the results.

What you get:
• The exact filter combination saved with a name of your choice
• Email alert when a new property matching the filter is posted
• Push notification on the mobile app the moment it goes live
• Re-run the search in one tap from Dashboard → Saved Searches

You can have multiple saved searches running in parallel (e.g. "2BHK apartments under ₹50L in Velachery" + "Plots in Tambaram") — manage and delete them any time from the same dashboard page.

Question 24

Where can I see my past payments and orders?

Accepted Answer

Sign in and open Dashboard → Orders. You will see every payment (credit package purchase, promotion upgrade) with date, amount, gateway, and status (paid / pending / failed). If a payment was deducted but you don't see credits/promotion applied, use the "Check Payment Status" button next to that row — it reconciles directly with the payment gateway and applies the upgrade.

How do I edit or delete my account?

Sign in and go to Dashboard → Profile. You can edit your name, photo, contact details, and preferences from there. To delete your account permanently, scroll to the bottom of the Profile page and use the "Delete Account" option, or visit our Account Deletion page from the footer. Deletion is irreversible and removes your listings, leads, and chat history.

What is the User Verification System?

Our User Verification System helps build trust in the PropDeep community by verifying the identity of agents and property owners. Verified users display a ✓ badge next to their name on property listings and profiles.

How to Get Verified:
1. Sign in to your account
2. Go to Dashboard → Profile
3. Tap on the "Verified User" section
4. Upload the required documents (ID proof, address proof)
5. Submit for verification

Verification Process:
• Our team reviews your documents within 24–48 hours
• You will receive an email notification once verified
• The verified badge will appear on all your listings

Benefits:
• Builds trust with potential buyers and renters
• Increases credibility of your listings
• Higher engagement on your properties
• Priority support from the PropDeep team

Is my personal data safe with PropDeep?

Yes. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes (never in plain text), all traffic is HTTPS-only, and the database backups are encrypted at rest (AES-256) with strict access controls. What payment methods do you accept?

On the website (www.propdeep.com) we use Razorpay — that gives you UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM), all major credit/debit cards, net banking, and EMI options. On the mobile app we use Google Play’s in-app purchase (Android) and Apple’s in-app purchase (iOS), which support the payment methods linked to your Play Store / App Store account. We never see your card or UPI details directly — payment is handled by the provider.

Do I need to keep the PropDeep app updated?

Yes — please keep auto-updates on. Newer versions ship bug fixes, faster image loading, and updates that align the app with website features (notifications, search filters, payment flows). Tap the Play Store link in the previous question to check for updates.

Can I use PropDeep from outside India?

Yes — you can browse listings, contact agents, and use the dashboard from anywhere in the world. Property promotion payments require an Indian payment method (UPI / Indian-issued card / net banking) because all our listings are India-based and prices are in INR.
